FSP Milwaukee Chapter Recap “Opportunities After the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act – Time for Proactive Collaboration

In case you were not able to attend our most recent meeting at the University Club in Milwaukee this past week, our President, Robert Holton, had this to say about our speaker:

Richard Kait JD, LLM (Taxation), CLU, ChFC , 2nd Vice President in Advanced Sales at Protective Life, was a wonderful speaker today, presenting “Opportunities After the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act – Time for Proactive Collaboration.  Always very enjoyable to listen to with a deep and broad knowledge in the fields of the insurance and taxation, Dick touched on four broad areas of taxation impacted by the Tax Cut & Jobs Act including Corporate Income Tax, Section 199A — Small Business Tax Relief, Individual Income Tax Cuts, and Gift, Estate and GST Tax Relief.

 

He provided details for Proactive Sales including an emphasis on drafting plans with flexibility and adaptability has the political environment changes, leveraging the power of the 199A options, and approaching clients about using insurance on grandchildren as an effective wealth transfer technique.
