|As a Financial Advisor with SC&H Financial Advisors, Chris DeBlanc has more than 11 years experience working in accounting and financial planning. Chris uses his combined experience as an accountant and financial planner to work together with clients to create a holistic, personal financial plan that aims to build, grow, and preserve wealth.
His goal with every client is to enable them to live an extraordinary life, a life full of purpose and passion – the life they’ve always dreamed of. Chris helps clients discover and achieve their personal financial goals; then, as life happens and circumstances change, he works to adjust the plan to keep them on course. For Chris, passion is providing the most value he can to the lives of the people he serves.
Chris is a graduate of both the University of Richmond and the American Military University where he earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Accounting, and a Master’s in Intelligence Analysis respectively. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), Certified Financial Planner™, CFP®, and holds his Series 65 license.
Prior to becoming a Financial Advisor, Chris served four years in the United States Marine Corps. He completed two tours in Iraq, and after leaving the Marines; Chris served another two years in Iraq with the US State Department.
|Michael Zinkand is an Executive Director and Senior Client Portfolio Manager at FS Investments who provides guidance and expertise to improve client experiences and outcomes. He primarily is responsible for educating clients on the firm’s liquid alternatives platform. He also serves as a key resource for the real estate and alternative credit platforms and is involved in strategic initiatives with the investment management team to best position the firm’s offerings.
Michael has more than 15 years of experience in investment research, investment oversight and sales support. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a Portfolio Specialist with Hartford Funds, where he provided fund insight, macro perspective and asset allocation recommendations. Before this, he was a Portfolio Specialist with AMG Funds (formerly Managers Investment Group), where he covered a select group of mutual funds and separate accounts while providing product and sales support to the broader organization. He was also a member of the Investment Committee that oversaw the firm’s mutual fund lineup and asset allocation solutions.
